@torengallagher8368: can we all just appreciate how stupid Rhaenyra Targaryen is? like god this character pisses me off, i know how to style her "Rhaenyra the clown" its been a pleasure watching her tolerate treason and surround herself with enemies and throw away the life's of her heirs. ooh and tolerate other claimants so this whole thing will happen again. it really has been hilarious. I understand "Rhaenyra the fool" need allies. But Daemon is the only one in this show who has a working frontal cortex and is able to understand basic cause and effect. Sorry but the big R is suicidally stupid but its ok because its masked as compassion even if she kills people for graffiti in a mostly illiterate populace, the movie makes sure i understand this. Not to mention her friend literally could have ended the war before it even started sparring thousands…you know no big deal, the movie literally never explained the logic there. idk its like not paying your army is a big deal because historically that never causes any issues. I literally havnt seen her do anything even halfway smart, not paying you army to do some bread and circuses? really? …Jesus…no scratch that..iv never seen her do anything that makes sense maybe this is why women cant be leaders or maybe this is the danger of inbreeding idk
@blackiesun: Aegon should have retorted then why was Larys trying to reinstate him as king if he thought he had been a bad king and thinks he sucks as a person? That should definitely make Aegon think Larys is not doing this because he is loyal to him but has his own agenda. Larys saying those things is actually a bad move strategically and Aegon isn’t that stupid and should immediately have these thoughts. Larys gave away that he isn’t helping him due to liking him but for selfish reasons. If Aegon never questions him after this, even just in his mind, I will think the writers are not doing a good job, sorry. Aegon can still pretend and he himself use Larys till he gets back to being king but they need to show that he has understood he cannot trust Larys. I also find it unbelievable really that the guards in the dungeons imprisoned Otto and never disclosed having him there. Guard could and realistically would have sold the info for better rewards and to me it makes no sense they did that for Larys and kept it a secret even after Larys fled. What authority and power had Larys to imprison Otto and have it be a total secret for that long also? Otto should have been able to corrupt the guards easily lol.
@jasonmallory7183: There is so much craziness going on right now. Aegon telling Larys exactly what his plans are, then turning right around and being told how it is. Tyland Lannister telling Larys that Aegon isnt just a card to hold and play when he wants to but is exactly what he himself is trying to do in that same moment lol . Criston Cole slowly descending into madness from being at war too long and realizing that the Queen he set out on his journey for is no longer the Queen who rules so he basically says well I'm not fighting for Rhanerya so now he's just going to do what he wants lol .His speech to the men doesn't sound like he's motivating them at all. it sounds more like he is trying to convince them to stay and also to convince himself to carry on while several men decide they're done. And him saying he has the greatest warrior in the realm, I beg to differ good set, my $$ is on Daemon on his worst day every time in that fight.
@s.bowes.8124: Being honest, I'm finding this season to be a slog. The writing is questionable. A lot of characters are cartoonish and one-dimensional. Also there are WAY too many scenes that just involve two people talking, with the conversation feeling like filler that doesn't add anything of real consequence to the plot. Even though the season is building the a big moment, it hasn't given me a reason to get in vested and care. On a side note, what the writers are doing with Aemond this season, i.e. stuck in an empty castle with a witch treatment, they did beat-for-beat with Daemon last season. Didn't work then, and it doubly doesn't work now. It's just not entertaining to watch.
@bevinboulder5039: I don't know where this goes from here, but I sincerely hope that Tessaryon kills and eats Ormund Hightower for how Ormund has treated Daeron during his wardship. I can tell by Daeron's behavior that his uncle has at best bullied him throughout his childhood. But NO ONE tell me what actually happens. I hate spoilers. Thanks to everyone for their attention to this last matter. 😉 ps. For those old enough to remember it, Aegon and Aemond are both sounding like Tommy Smothers (RIP) of the Smothers Brothers, "Mom always liked you best!"
@SAseeker101: This season is getting better. I wish it wasn’t so drab. Can`t they have at least 1 attractive woman and or a witty one in the series and not frumpy or weird looking and miserable? Each dialogue with a woman is a struggle session. How about some vicious banter? They have some handsome men, why the sexism?
@joonateivastenaho8177: Why doesn't Alys just give Aemond to the Blacks now that Harrenhall is promised? Of course there is a slight logistical problem because she doesn't have a dragon to carry him with and she cannot ask for help because everyone would want to steal the prize
@TcBrock-b7n: Daemond should of sectioned off areas around the deaths of earlier city watch! The killers would not of strayed to far from the acts due to being detected! Then operated a door to door search at night! This would of flooded the killers out!
@MajinBuuuuu: it's fine if high tower is hiding in diffrent city, still they can burn their own kingdom. they will not die but their kingdom will. why not do that ? they'll be king of nothing
@StefunnyStrange: I didn’t see the caterpillar & butterfly stuff as a jab at GRRM. I saw it as an apology & trying to fix the issue with Maelor this season by impregnating Helaena.
