@LangstonBowenPhoto: Crimson Desert has shown what is wrong with todays generations in a nutshell, lack of critical thinking and problem solving ability and always needing to be hand held and follow some type of trends in their small world in order for something to be considered great. This is a game that caters to the thinkers, the wanderers and those who can fill in the blanks where there isn't something obvious. It gives you options right out the gate to tackle any problem and says, "Now figure it out" It doesn't want to help you it wants you to have your own unique journey. My buddy and I have been updating each other every so often on our progress and we are having vastly different experiences both great in their own right but little overlap outside of the main quests. There is a narrative here but its not so on the nose that its telling you every single little detail right out the gate. There is a ton to be uncovered and you are learning it right along Kliff who was simply a man with his own faction that he is now trying to get back together and strengthen in order to take out the Black Bears but there are other larger forces at work trying to cause chaos and Kliff seems to be a key part in stopping them.

@lifeasagamerr: It is crazy how out of touch this reviewer is, 6! Ign has done it again, zero clue how to review a game. Yes the games have problems, but hire someone that can actually play the games they are reviewing.- Yes the story is bad, menus and controls are terrible.- Combat is not hard, more enemies makes in more fun.- Bosses are a nice addition to the combat, something that is actually a bit challenging but there are only a handfull of side bosses that are really hard.- wtf, the war and the siege is a great chapter! Just kill the enemies before you place the banner ffs! No, you are really bad at games if regular enemies kill you often.- Puzzles are a mixed bag, most are fun and interesting if you like that sort of thing, again, to many mechanics you use, way to rarely.- I have had a few bugs but most seems to have been fixed at launch or soon after.-I at least have enjoyed the downfall of Ign and their terrible reviews.

@mushinvb9135: I understand the review, game tries to deliver a lot. Sometimes hits, sometimes misses. Along with questionable (game)design choices across the board. And if you look beyond its appearance (gorgeous) and put it next to titles like RdR2(impressive story) to Elden Ring(no story) you see an unfinished unpolished experience. Or maybe its a taste that needs to be acquired. But if that maybe happens after 40 or 50 hours, can you call it good? 6 seems legit, for now

@Vatayah: Devs: This is not an RPGIGN: "This Rpg…"Man, this Doom Eternal narrative is not as compelling as I thought it would be, main character has no charisma or many voice lines, and the story is lacking.Anyway, players clearly have spoken and scored it according to expectations — an open-world action adventure sandbox, something you can't just power through for your review deadlines.

@sirlancenotalot2765: I’m loving the game. There are different kinds of gamers. Immersion gamers (who love immersion), Graphics gamers (who love all things shiny) Gameplay gamers (who like games for their mechanics) and prob others too.I’m an immersion gamer, Skyrim is my favourite game of all time. And this game is FINALLY something new to replace that itch. If you’re an immersion gamer then this game is for you.

@stingyringpiece: Usually id applaud the IGN review, however in this instance, although I resect the opinion, I don't know where some conclusions have arrived from. did they play a different game?.its easily 9/10, possibly 10/10 , the biggest game so far. literally, its simply one of the best experiences you'll have!!Go buy it it wont let you down, highly recommended.

@lordchikage9015: People who enjoy this are also people who enjoy marvel movies. Some people have 0 good taste and have played 1-2 games in their life. It’s a bore fest for people who play more than 2 games per year. Calling this a masterpiece is ridiculous. The gameplay and story alone are so bad. I have no freaking idea what some people like about this

@DerAdalwolf: This is why I don't trust reviewers. I picked up the game day 1. Have over 50 hours in it already and am loving every minute of it. Honestly its the only game I'm wanting to play and could easily see myself trying to 100% it and I haven't done that since skyrim and before that elder scrolls oblivion

@CrimsonEsso: You gave it 6/10? Six??! Are you ACTUALLY trying to speedrun losing any semblence of credibility? Actually?! You gave Veilguard 9/10 and THIS is is SIX!!!??!? Do everyone a favor and take a long walk off a short pier. Holy shit, how out of touch you have to be to give this a six!

@gamingsaiyanPS5: 20 hours into the game and it’s insanely immersive. I’ve already uploaded 9 hours of 4K gameplay — would love it if you checked it out. I just can’t stop playing!Games like this deserve massive support — we only get games like this once in a blue moon.
